Become a Branch Supporter
Join SAFC Lancashire Supporters Branch for just £2 a year and be part of a growing community of Sunderland fans across Lancashire.
Your membership helps cover the running costs of the website, including web hosting and the domain name. Together, these cost around £80 per year.
Any money left over at the end of the season will be donated to St John’s Hospice in Lancaster.
Membership runs for the current football season, with renewals due in July each year.
What Your Membership Supports
- Keeping the website live and up to date
- Connecting Sunderland supporters across Lancashire
- Helping grow a local supporters network
- Supporting a local charity through end of season donations
A Social Supporters Branch
This is a social branch, focused on bringing Sunderland fans together in Lancashire.
We won’t be running coaches or arranging match tickets. This proved difficult in the past due to logistics and the size of Lancashire.
Instead, the focus is on connecting supporters. For example, this could mean travelling by train, sharing lifts, or meeting up locally to watch matches together if you can’t make it to the game.
Our WhatsApp Community
Our WhatsApp community is now up and running! It’s a great way to keep in touch with fellow Sunderland fans, share matchday plans, arrange travel and find out about local meet ups.
We’ve created several groups to make it easier for supporters to connect, including three regional groups covering Lancashire.
Our community groups include:
- Announcements: Important branch news and updates.
- SAFC Lancashire Chat: General Sunderland chat and a place to get to know fellow supporters.
- Matchday Meet-ups: Find out where fans are gathering to watch live matches.
- Travel & Lift Shares: Connect with supporters travelling to games by car or train.
- North Lancashire: Connect with supporters in the north of the county.
- Central & South Lancashire: For fans across central and southern Lancashire.
- Fylde Coast – Bringing together Sunderland supporters along the Fylde Coast.

Keeping the Community Friendly
We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable. So, please treat fellow supporters with respect, even when opinions differ.
The groups will be moderated to keep things friendly and inclusive. Offensive, discriminatory or abusive comments won’t be tolerated and may result in removal from the community.
After all, we’re here to enjoy the football, make new friends and support the SAFC together!
